What is network
marketing?
A lot has been written about Network Marketing over
the years, some good, some bad. None, however can dispute the impact
this form of marketing has had on the world wide economy.
The network marketing industry itself
has seen many changes and it has well and truly moved on from the
days of a few Mums selling cosmetics and home care products to
provide a little extra family income.
In fact Network Marketing truly came
of age in the 90 s and in 2004 the DSA
(Direct Selling Association of
America
www.dsa.org)
reported that in America alone, there were 13.6 million direct sales
people generating US$29.73 billion.
It is estimated that there are more than 30 million people worldwide
achieving more than £50 billion in annual sales.
So Why Is Network Marketing Becoming
So Popular?
Growing numbers of people are
attracted to the idea of gaining financial freedom and have realized
that one of the best ways to do this is to create economic leverage.
Many are searching for flexibility in their working lives and
Network Marketing affords them this luxury.
Home-based business has already
become a reality for millions of people around the world and this
has inspired millions more to follow their dreams in the same arena.
And Why Are Major Companies Using
This Marketing Medium?
Major multinational corporations are
taking account of the networking phenomenon and building it into
their own plans for distributing products and services.
They recognize that it is a powerful
technique for introducing new products and penetrating the market
quickly.
From a Company perspective, since
commissions are only paid on actual sales and since word-of-mouth
replaces costly advertising campaigns, network distribution is an
efficient and economical way to market a product or service.
NETWORKING MARKETING
PRINCIPALS
Network Marketing, also known as Multi Level Marketing or MLM, was the largest growth industry in the 1980's and
produced many industrial giants that are still doing business today.
This branch of industry has the power to make the right people with
the right knowledge very rich in a very short span of time. The very
first MLM Companies began appearing in the United States around the
1930's, but didn't really receive International prominence until the
1960's. By 1985 experts estimate that around $5 billion worth of new
products were sold using the MLM model.
MLM Networking offers anyone the opportunity to own and operate
their own business from their home environment at low cost with
astounding tax benefits. You can earn from $100 to many thousands of
dollars per-month, but most earnings fall between these figures. The
potential to earn money in these opportunities is virtually
unlimited and have made many millionaires in the world today. The
limits of earnings are set by how persistent you are, the amount of
time you have to spare, your marketing knowledge and your faith in
the product. A good distributor needs to be energetic and highly
motivated. The main thrust of Networking is sponsoring new people
into the business, and training them to do the same, i.e. to
duplicate what you are doing, in other words making another you!.
This is important: It is far better to have few good people in your
business duplicating what you do, instead of hundreds in your
business doing nothing.
Here is how MLM Networking works today using the best method of
communicating ever invented
... the Internet!
Find a good MLM Company after thoroughly studying their website.
Find two highly motivated people by using your
recruiting system.
Train those people to duplicate what you just did.
Repeat cycle.
If you have trained your distributors correctly you will be building
deep in your matrix and your distributors will be making money and
so will you. Networking is a partnership between you and your
downline who all share the same interest in generating income. You
are making an agreement and commitment to work with each other as a
team enabling leverage, in other words many people doing a little
each for the benefit of each other. Operating this partnership
correctly makes success much easier and goes along way to solving
any problems.
One problem we all run into in Networking is an upline sponsor who
ignores you, doesn't communicate and does nothing to help his, you,
or his downline, this is a recipe for disaster. He or she is living
off of your money and is not in partnership with you. If this
happens then you must find his upline sponsor and so on until you
find one that does help as this will give your group more strength.
When you do recruit someone be choosy, tell them what you expect of
them and advise them what they can expect of you. Be truthful about
the opportunity, don't hype the benefits, ask them about their level
of interest, how many hours they can work the business in a given
week.
Its better to have a few good downline members than many deadbeats
and tire-kickers. Don't offer help if you know you can't do it,
offer your help but don't guarantee anything, be as honest as you
can, try to explain your meanings as simply as possible because
misunderstandings happen on a regular basis when writing as people
can't see you. Things may take longer to happen doing your business
this way but its far better than having something come back and kick
you where it hurts.
But
isn't it just another form of 'Pyramid Scheme' ?
