| How it works
The webpage
www.5-balls.com is a lead capture page.
In other words its' only purpose is to get
the contact details of its visitors - that's
it, no more, no less.
The page is
presented in classic marketing style, that
is;-
Present the
problem (not enough people get 6 numbers and
those that get 5 numbers only receive a
small prize compared to the jackpot)
Provide the
solution - e-lottery! But to get the
solution, the visitor must provide their
contact details. To encourage them even more
to complete the form, there's the offer of
'A free chance to WIN
A GRAND this week'
There is a very high conversion ratio of
visitors to captures.
So how does
this work for you?
The important part is the invite code (your
ID and initials). This is how the system
knows it was you who sent someone to the
site and for the visitor it makes them feel
kind of special in as much as they have been
invited, a personal invitation!
Once the form is completed, the visitor is
then taken to this page
http://www.johntrayhorn.com/5-ball-opt-in-thanks.htm
On this page the visitor is asked to 'Tell a
friend' if they complete the form there,
they are then taken to a thank you page and
offered the chance to refer more friends -
pages just go in a loop.
The original form is then sent to an
autoresponder which sends out a series of
emails. In these emails there are links to
the player movie, affiliate movie and Grab-a
Grand pages of the VWD e-lottery website.
These links are stored in the autoresponder
as
http://www.v-w-d.com/redir.asp?m=%$field8$%&target=/default.asp?goto=/vwdguest/match5.asp
(GAG example email recipients do not see
this, they see 'Click Here')
It's the
%$field8$%
part that identifies who the referrer
was (the invite code) in other words
%$field8$%
refers to field 8 of the form (the invite
code) So although although the autoresponder
might send out 100 of the same emails, they
could all contain different links. A bit
like mail merge - You have one letter but
you can address it personally to many
people.
THIS IS WHY
IT'S SO IMPORTANT TO MAKE SURE YOU PUT THE
CORRECT ID AND INITIALS ON ANY ADVERTISING
MEDIA SUCH AS BUSINESS CARDS ETC
You will also
notice next to the form it says
Please enter the invite code
provided
by
the person who invited you.
If you have arrived at this page
without an invite code, please
This is used for anyone who may come across
the site but had not been invited by one of
us. If the visitor clicks a new window opens
and a random invite code is generated (go on
try it!) All new affiliates who let me know
their ID and initials are entered into the
randomiser. Please email your ID to
random@5-balls.com to be included.
I
also use advertising without any invite
codes to help team members. Don't do this
yourself because you will not benefit from
it unless the people in the randomiser are
in your downline.
If you are interested in seeing what your
prospects receive by email, simply fill in
the form with your details as if you were
not a member and had just been invited by
someone (use your own ID code)
Prospect
details
To keep you informed of how you are doing,
every time a visitor enters their details
with your ID code, I will email this
information to you. You don't need to follow
them up about e-lottery because the system
will do this automatically but you may wish
to promote other things to them and they are
after all YOUR lead! This applies whether
you sent them or your ID was randomly
generated.
