This week’s newsletter contains some very important information about payments and the launch of Ei42 USA so please make sure you read through this and pass it on to any of your friends.
Payment Processing
There are still a few members who have not provided their full address. Can you please check that we have a full accurate UK address on file for you. The address MUST include a postcode. If we do not have an address with postcode on file we cannot pay you even if your payment method is set to Paypal so please login to your admin area and check that your details are correct.
You will also notice that payments have not yet been processed for March commissions, the reason for this is that as we are about to enter the new tax year we will be sending out end of year statements to everyone who has received a payment from Ei42 and so we have to wait for the year end to pass to be able to provide you with accurate information. Any money that you are due should still reach you on or before the 15th April as usual.
Charges for Payment by Cheque
Our terms & conditions state that we will charge a processing fee of £1 if you choose to be paid by cheque rather than via Bacs direct to your bank account. Until now we have not charged this fee to anyone who chose to be paid by cheque. We have held this position for 3 months since we the introduced the ability for you to be paid by Bacs. Please note that if you continue to choose payment by cheque we will as of the next payment processing date (May 1st 2009) be charging the £1 processing fee as per our terms & conditions. Any cheques being processed this month will not carry the processing fee. To change your payment method to receive payment from us via BACS direct to your bank account simply login to your account admin area and click the “Payment Preference” then select Bacs and provide your details. After Bacs details are saved they will not be visible in your admin area. For security purposes they are immediately deleted from our web servers. Please note that providing these details to us DOES NOT allow us to withdraw funds from your account. It only allows us to pay money into your account.
Launch of Ei42 into United States of America
Many of you will already have heard that the planned launch of Ei42 into America is finally upon us. At approximately 6pm this coming Wednesday the USA version of Ei42 will launch. This will allow you to promote Ei42 to your friends in the United States. In summary you will all have a UK and USA shop along with separate administration areas where you can manage individual payment methods for UK & USA. I will send a USA Launch newsletter out 1 hour before the official launch to make you all aware of the exact time. In addition that newsletter will explain the details of how the UK & USA systems integrate. The key elements are these
1. You will have the same account number and username in all countries and you will login in exactly the same way as you do now
2. You will be able to refer your friends in any country using the exact same method as you do now. When they join they will choose their home country
3. All members in your team in all countries will show within your administration dashboard in the View Friends section in exactly the same way as you see them now.
4. Income from the UK will earn you money in GBP, income from the USA will earn you money in USD.
5. The minimum level for payment in the UK remains at £20 and the minimum level for payment in the USA will be $20. These amounts are not connected they are totally separate payments and currencies.

Finally,
You may see a few things appear and disappear on your shops and admin area during the next couple of days while we carry out the final preparations for the launch. This is unavoidable and you may see things that appear not to work during this process. Rest assured it’s just us hammering the last few nails into place and we will let you know as soon as you can start promoting USA.
