Newsletter Friday 30 May 2008
Commission Updates.
With 1st June falling on a Sunday there will be no further commission updates until 6pm on Monday (2nd June). This is to allow our staff to make any last minute amendmends to your commissions before sending payments out for May commissions and profit share. This means that any purchases you make between now and then will NOT be visible in your admin area until at least 6pm Monday.
If your balance is over £20 approved you will be receiving a cheque or paypal payment from us during the next 7 days. Don't forget that if you wish you can raise your payout amount to a higher figure simply by logging into the helpdesk and requesting we raise your payout limit to whatever amount you wish.
This weeks newsletter is all about common misconceptions of Ei42.com
It’s a Pyramid scheme.... A Scam!
This is the most common misconception. This is based on the fact that someone close to you (usually a well meaning relative or friend) has jumped to the conclusion that Ei42 is some sort of illegal Pyramid scheme. Unfortunately some people simply say the words "It’s a Pyramid scheme” without having any idea of what constitutes such a scheme. We do everything within our power to be totally honest and above board on this subject and any other questions that we are asked.
Ei42 is a totally legitimate UK registered company.
Company Registration Number. 6440081
V.A.T. Number: GB 926 4143 30
We have nothing to hide.
We have done our research and if anyone tells you that Ei42 is a pyramid scheme please ask them to explain to you how a pyramid scheme works and why in their opinion Ei42 is such a scheme. I’m pretty sure that the “best” answer they will be able to give you is that it’s “because you have to recruit people to make money” with Ei42 this simply is not true, you do not have to refer a single friend to us if you choose not to. You can simply have your own Ei42 shop and use it yourself. You will still receive a commission on your purchases. In addition Ei42 is FREE making it impossible for you to lose any money. If you do choose to share Ei42 with your friends then when you “recruit” them (I hate that word but it helps with the explanation) you gain NO BENEFIT from their recruitment. You can ONLY benefit as a result of them joining Ei42 if they buy something using their Ei42 shop. This is totally legitimate business practise which is no different to when you refer a friend to Sky TV they will pay you £50, and many other companies offer similar schemes from people like Virgin which I am sure you have all seen on TV or received something in the post.
We have an article on this in our FAQ’s In This Article which also contains a direct link to the government website on this subject.
The people at the top will make all the money?
This is utter rubbish and the reason is simple “you are ALL at the top” that is to say you are all directly joined to the company, you are all earning EXACTLY the same amount of money from each genuine sale through your team of friends in Ei42.
Just for a moment, think of the first person that you introduced to Ei42. Now think, how is his or her situation any different from yours? The answer is.... It’s Not! It is EXACTLY the same and will remain the same.
I don’t have enough friends to make it worthwhile?
This is the beauty of Ei42, you do not need to tell many people. This is what I personally recommend to anyone who asks me how to build a big team.
1. Don’t think this will happen overnight. It is NOT a get rich quick scheme.
2. Set yourself a goal of how many people you will refer to Ei42 (YOUR PERSONAL FRIENDS) I suggest 5 to start but it really is entirely up to you.
3. When you refer your friends tell them what your personal goal is. “I’m going to refer 5 people and see how I get on” then ask them “why don’t you try and do the same?” we have nothing to lose.
As you can see if you concentrate on small numbers and focus on your own personal team of 5 then it is much more probable that your friends will also refer 5 people and pass on exactly that same message.
The commissions on a lot of things seem very low. It’s not worth bothering?
You do not say this when you use your clubcard to gather points at the checkout. If you had the same opportunity with your supermarket loyalty card as you do with Ei42, would you refer your friends so that you all benefited? Of course you would.
When you earn 1p it is really not much but when hundreds, thousands or tens of thousands of people earn 1p for you. Now thats worthwhile.
Ei42 will make a lot of money because they get 10% of everything?
When you shop every week at the same supermarket you do not think "I won't shop here again because they keeping making money from me" do you? Ei42 is a business and we are here to make money. Having said that it will take a long time before we make money. The reason for that is simple. We may get 10% of everything but we pay out 90% of everything. So to make our 10% sufficient we need lots more people than you do. Based on the current average spend we need approximately 160,000 users to break even and like most new businesses we expect to lose money in our launch period. We consider our launch period to be our first 12 months so we fully expect and are on target to have at least 160,000 users in the UK and other countries (when they launch) before 31st January 2009. So the only question then is...
How many will be in your team?
That’s all for this week.
I wish you continued success with Ei42
Best Regards
Steve Dawson
