Newsletter Friday 9th May

Another exciting week at Ei42 as we continue to build between us the biggest online loyalty scheme that the UK has ever seen. Yes, I know that is a very ambitious thing to be saying especially at this very early stage, but I truly believe that is what we are doing between us, so it makes no sense to keep it to myself. Hopefully you are all as excited as I am so you will continue to shout your excitement from the rooftops as well to enable us to keep up with the fantastic growth we are achieving together.

Now, don’t worry too much if your personal team of friends is growing slowly at the moment, it’s a fact of life that this will happen to us all from time to time and also remember that every one of us started by telling just one person. My Dad used to say “Rome wasn’t built in a day” which he always swiftly backed up with “but they went to work every day!” With Ei42 going to work every day simply means making a commitment to yourself to tell somebody about Ei42 every day. Don’t forget what we always tell you.. Do not try and explain Ei42 just get people to look at your site and at Ei42 and let them make their own minds up.

To that end, let’s move on to this weeks first NEW FEATURE which will help you tell others about Ei42.com

Historically to tell your friends about Ei42 you had to tell them to go to your Ei42 shop and then click “Find Out More” but now we have improved that feature for you. What we have done is created some easy to remember shortcuts. You will now find these in your admin area for your reference and for using in emails but they really are easy to remember.

Here are some examples Your shop: www.ei42.com/yourusername (No change here)

Referral Link: www.ei42.com/yourusername/info (this takes a user directly to Ei42.com just as if they had clicked your ‘Find Out More’ link)

Direct Signup: www.ei42.com/yourusername/join (this takes a user directly to the Signup form as referred by you)

So, all you have to remember is to add “/info” or “/join” to the end of your ei42 username and you can now easily direct anyone to Ei42. We think the/info one will be most used as it really does make it easy to scribble your link down on a note to anyone you meet.

Videos

Last week I mentioned to you all that we were preparing some videos of which the first two are ready for you to watch. I’m Steve Dawson not Steven Spielberg but overall I am pleased with the results and hope you like them to. You’ll find them under the “Videos” link on Ei42 and we also published them to YouTube so you can use them on any of your websites to help promote your Ei42 business if you wish.

Team Profile

Many of you were asking for a little bit of information about me and the team here at Ei42. This week we finally found the time to create a small section on Ei42.com which contains some pictures and a paragraph about each of us. For anyone wishing to know a little more about me then you’ll find my profile is a little more extensive and slightly more serious than the other members of staff.

Next week we plan to add some more videos and I hope to have news of another new feature that we have been working on.
